Nightgown or PJ Pants for the hospital?

Nightgown or PJ Pants for the hospital?
Do i need a night gown for the hospital? I bought new PJ pants but was told that I will need to wear a gown??? Which one should i bring/wear?

I have always been more comfortable in PJ pants..its always been what Ive worn in the hospital.

I "think" they require you to wear a gown for easy access to exam you.

Well I brought both & was glad I did. I felt much more comfortable in pants (dark ones!!) & they truly only examined me twice a day so pulling the pants down wasn't a big deal.

On reccomendations of several people, I have both packed in my bag...the nightgown for the first few days and maybe at night...the pajamas for when I have people there (I think I will feel more comfortable)
