Nikon moms can you help?
I have a Nikon D40x. I want to purchase a speedlight for it and the Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Lens . Where would be the best place to buy them? Thanks!

I bought my lens at Neptune but would suggest going back to B&H. Less expensive...
Also I'm not suggesting you bypass paying NY State Sales tax because that would be illegal - but NJ residents don't have to pay if you have it shipped to your house in NJ.

LOL....I am looking into purchasing thwe same equipment for my D40X....someone else also recommended B&H in Manhatten....they have a website too!!

Thanks! Is there any specific speedlight I should be looking at? I just use my camera to take pictures of my daughter.

Something important to note is that the D40X is only compatible with the AF-S lenses....not the AF lenses. You probably know this already but I made that mistake with my D60 and ended up having to return the lens so I just thought I'd mention it.
The D40, D40x and the D60 are only compatible with AF-S lenses.
