Nikon School- Worth it?
I remember a post a few months back with a bunch of LIF people that were going to take a class at the Nikon school. If you have taken a class with them, was it worth it? Did you learn a lot? I'm debating signing up for an upcoming class...TIA

it was good and i learned things, but i never put it into "practice". i still do everything in auto. i think for the price it's worth it, especially if you take it with someone.
the end was WAY over my head though so i left.

Me too!! I understood everything as they were explaining it, but I didn't have time to play with what I learned and then forgot everything.
I was actually thinking of going back again.

Re: Nikon School- Worth it?
Thanks for the responses! I'm debating taking the Nikon class or taking an online photography course. I think the online course goes a bit more in depth, so I may just put the money towards that.

which online course are you planning on taking? I was thinking about the nikon school, but if there's something online, it might be easier for me to do it that way. Thanks!

It's longer (approximately 10-12 months...you do it on your own time) and more expensive. It was recommended to me by a family member: http://www.nyip.com/
