thank you everyone for all of your kind words --- I don't know any of you in real life but means so much to me to know that you are all here listening (reading).

Good news is mom gets to come home from hospital today, my flight is at 9 am tomorrow (when I booked she ws supposed to leave hosp on wed.).

The good thing is her sister arrived yesteday and is staying till next Thurs so my dad can go to work next week.

I will most likely come back the week of the 19th because she has chemo again.

I have a job but if they are not happy with me taking time off (and I have plenty of sick days) then I don't need the job. Like I told my DH I only have 1 mom but I can get a new job.
