Normal baby gas & spit up vs.

time to eliminate something from my diet?

How do I determine this?

In the past few days after a feeding my 2.5 week old become cranky, pulling up legs and passing gas.... Ill burp him "extra" and he'll spit up (which he hadnt done before) sometimes its just liquid coming back out, sometimes its a small thick amount...

How do I know it isnt something I ate or shouldnt be eating?

ETA- now it was a large amount and projectile...whats normal???

I am curious about this too. DS is 16 days old and has been spitting up a lot more lately after BFing. Is this normal?

my DD has been doing the same thing.
The dr says she has reflux and to try feeding her in more of an upright position and to keep her upright for 30 minutes after feedings. It definitly did help.

I went through this in the beginning with DD. She is FF and was projectile spitting up 2 times a day after feedings. We were sent for an ultrasound to check her belly and but she was fine. What made the difference was feeding in a sitting up position, burping frequently, not rushing feedings, keeping DD relaxed during meals, having her sit up for at least 30 minutes after eating, and not overfeeding. She still has gas but the spitting up has decreased significantly. HTH!
