The waiting will drive you insane. They did not see a fetal pole my first Ultrasound, and said I was measuring 5 days behind. I am Thirteen weeks today, and had an ultrasound at 10 weeks showing a thriving baby. So please don't give up hope. I am praying for you!

how far along do you think you are? you may not see a heartbeat at 5 weeks. I didnt see or hear it until almost 7 weeks at my first sono.

Just try to relax. It's very hard but this will help the little one inside of you as well. Hopefully you are just earlier than you thought....

I am so sorry!! I was hoping today would go well for you. We got our BFPs around the same time and I went yesterday. My dr. didnt even do a sono, just an exam to confirm I was pregnant and he told me I was still very early. He wants to see me again in 2 weeks.
Hang in there and try not to work yourself into a panic, believe me, I DONT BLAME you; Im just dying for the 1st trimester to be over because that worry is always in the back of your mind
I will definitely pray for you, stay positive, Im sure everything will be OK

If i can offer any advice for you it's not listen to the doctor and wait to have that sono...I would've rather waited the full 8 weeks rather then come in earlier cause I was excited. At least I would know more then than i do now...I'm going home to PA this weekend to hang w/ my mom. She'll keep me busy

I will share my story to give you hope...my first appointment was at what I should have been 5weeks. based on last period. The md did a sono and there was nothing there...beta was in 300s...one week and a day later sono showed a big empty sac and beta was in 12,000s...3wks later when i should have been 9wks...there was a baby and a heartbeat...measuring 8wk3d...so that first appt I was really 4 wks, the 2nd one I was 5 weeks. I have longer than 28 day cycles. I am now 25 almost 26 wks.
ETA: next time I won't go to the md until I am 8 weeks.
