not for the weak stomached
so DH surprise me and the girls for a weekend trip to Wildwood ....we had a great time on the boardwalk and the waterpark etc then we got back to the hotel and there were police all over the next hotel
so I asked our hotel clerk what happened (I shouldnt have)
Apparantly some drunk 21 yrold boy fell head first off the fifth floor balcony and fell to his death ...hios eyes popped out of his head and his face was smashed
that poor boy ....you could hear his sister screaming that is my brother I was such a wreck that whole night and the next day

Wow!!! While I understand what you are saying that just seems harsh. I can't say that I have never gotten drunk and possibly lost my balance or made stupid decisions. Kudos to you if you have.
Anyway, what a horrible experience for all invovled!!!

yes it is sad but I just have such strong feelings on drinking to the point were you cant control yourself. I had a friend who was hit and killed by a drunk... I have neve been drunk where I didn't know what I was doing.

Like I said I totally understand your point of view. My younger brother was killed by getting in the car with someone that had been drinking. I guess look at it from the way that I felt when I lost him. No matter how stupid the action, the loss is just as devastating.

Heidi I am so sorry to hear that! I can see your point also. Its hard It just hurt so bad when he died It was my best friends 21 birthday too. I guess we all make bad choices especially when we are younger.

My nephew didnt come with us....he was visiting with DH's brother and niece for the weekend .......
I spoke with his Mom the other day because we finally got Optimum online and Voice so I can call Vegas for free now and she hadnt spoken to him in like 13 days........so he calls her and I hear him say ok ok yea ok ok yea yea ok...but no I love you too or miss you too.....so I tell him to say I love you Mom and all that and I tell him to let me talk and it is some woman who barely speaks English on the other end
so9 I hang up and call her cell and she says she sold her house and doesnt have that number anymore
and she told me she doesnt have time to talk to him because she was on the way to the Dr because she needs surgery next week (nose job) and she just paid $1,000 to fix up her pool
We were only supposed to have her son for a few weeks because she couldnt afford daycare anymore and its been over 2 months now she is a flake
He doesnt want to go back home with her now but he seems to be doing well here now so Thanks for asking I will keep ya posted
