Not good, ladies. UPDATE
Things turned out really bad ladies. Dr. T was amazing though and really comforted me. We had 13 confirmed follicles and when Dr. T went in, they only found 3 eggs. He has never had this happen to him and he popped every follicle and couldn't find anything. He thought there was an issue with the HCG and tested my blood and it was perfect. We don't know where to go from here. He said if those eggs are immature, he's coding it as a cyst aspiration. I really am grateful for how caring he is as my Dr. I am ordered to have sex tonight as a precaution and he will let me know tomorrow how those three are doing. Doesn't seem too optimistic. Oh well. Nothing with me is ever normal or easy and I'm just accepting it.
UPDATE--
Hey girls, sorry I had a killer 12 hour day of patients. So Dr. T emailed me and we have 1 mature eggie that is fertilizing well. Is this deja vu from the last IVF!? I keep ending up with one lone embryo! I was a bit devastated but at least we still have a slight chance!
I spent last night researching and what happened to me occurs from time to time. It is called empty follicle syndrome (EFS) and I apparently had it happen in two consecutive IVFs... very rare. It can happen once randomly but not back to back. Basically, I will need a specific type of treatment and also a specific trigger. Dr. T believes my body does not respond to the HCG trigger and has a completely different plan for next IVF now that we are figuring out what is happening. He sent me a very reassuring email consoling me and also motivating me to keep trying and that it will happen for us. I teared up and I feel so lucky to have a Dr who is so willing to see me succeed and get my dream baby. This embryo fertilized well so he is checking on it on Sat and will let me know if we are going to do a 5DT. Again, he is optimistic. I am just holding on to that and pushing through all of this. Please pray for us! Another little fighter!

Not good, ladies.
I'm so sorry. I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but try to remember that it only takes one. A friend of mine had a similar situation. She actually ovulated on her own, went to hospital because she felt herself ovulating. By the time they got in there they only found 2. One of those fertilized and she wound up getting pregnant. You never know....

I'm so sorry but like the other ladies said theres still hope just hang in there  I'm glad that you have such an amazing and comforting doctor to walk you through this process it makes such a difference.

I'm so sorry! Wow! Im glad your Dr. is so suppotive and empathetic. (even with the coding for financial reasons) Hang in there. It is never easy. When do you find out if these three made it to fertilization?

Tomorrow at fert report. Not answering my phone at all. I really don't want to deal with bad news in the middle of a 12 hour day. He didn't seem too optimistic but I think he was more concerned with what exactly happened bc everything was perfect and I had great e2 levels indicating eggs.
