Not sure if I should be posting on this board.
DH and I have 2 gorgeous children and are up in the air about a 3rd (for a lot of reasons-more children would be wonderful, who doesn't love kids? We worry we would be pushing our luck, we already have 2 healthy kids, with a 3rd we would be outnumbered, etc etc etc).
We've decided to just "see what happens" and if it happens, fine, if it doesn't then it wasn't meant to be.
We are giving it 7 months (until my birthday). If we do not get a BFP by then, we are closing up shop for good.
This will be our only pressure free TTC stint. So, no ovulation kits, no charting/temping/preseed. Just unprotected sex for a few months.
We had an easy time TTC Claire (almost 3) and a somewhat more challenging time TTC Owen (8 months). So, it could got either way. But, it's kind of liberating to TTC without actually TTC. It's exciting to think that we could be expanding our family but also okay to think that we may be a foursome and not outnumbered by our kids

that is exciting!! and it is nice to ttc without ttc!!!!
thats what we did, threw caution to the wind and it happened without us really trying!

I think as long as you are ok with the idea of possibly staying a 4 member family forever, it sounds like an awesome plan! Not many can go through TTC without adding all the stress and anxiety.
Good luck to both of you and I will secretly be hoping for a BFP from you soon

You guys are great-I have to say I was not this carefree with number 1 or 2-it's just on the possibility of a 3rd that we are pretty relaxed.
I know I would be a little disappointed if I don't get a BFP as my birthday gets closer, but not nearly as disappointed as each BFN I had when TTC our son.
I look at our little family and I know we are blessed-anything more is just the sprinkles on the cake. However, a cake without sprinkles is still delicious and I know we will be happy either way-that's what takes the stress out of it.
However, I do love to pee on a stick so not doing that is going to be a tough one for me
