Not sure if we handled this right and I'm laughing at it now...
We all make mistakes, right? 
So, last week Ryan apparently bit someone at school. A first. I was upset - I don't want my kid to be the biter, but it happens. The teacher then told me he's been a bit aggressive lately and they're working on it - so obviously we're working on it at home too (although we hadn't really noticed an issue)
Anyway, after the conversation with the teacher, I called DH upset and asked him to tame the wrestle play for a bit. They do some usually daddy-son wrestling - nothing crazy, but I thought maybe Ryan doesn't get the difference right now.
We start off this week and Ryan gets a good report. I get home from work and he tells me he didn't hit or bite anyone and was a good boy. Great.
Then DH is cleaning him up after dinner, tickling him and playing and nibbles his toes  AHHHH! I have told DH more than once we can't "play" like that. So, Ryan's going on and on that Daddy bit him. DH tries to explain he was playing and I ask DH not to go that route since it's not OK for Ryan to "play" bite a friend.
So we had DH go to the naughty chair. I didn't know what else to do DH told Ryan he was going and Ryan asked if I was putting him there. I said, "no, Daddy is putting himself in the naughty chair, Mommy is not his boss, and neither is Ryan". So, he sat in the chair for 2 minutes and that was that.
What would you have done?? Like I said, I didn't know how to show Ryan it wasn't OK.

I think you handled it great actually!! Love that he went to the chair but also love that you said DH was putting HIMSLEF there!! Very good!!

I would have made daddy sit in the naughty chair for the amount of minutes of his age. Make it REALLY sink in about what he did.
I think you handled it beautifully, and I hope you got a picture of daddy in the naughty chair.

OMG- I did the same thing once!!!!! My DD had a bad habit of throwing things when she was upset. I was working on it. Then Dh threw something in front of her in frustration one day and DD gave me a look. I looked at DH and said- "no throwing. time out daddy" and he had to stand in the corner for a minute.

I know, I kept thinking - hmm, how long should we have him go for. I went with 2 to even it out with Ryan, but was totally tempted to have him hang out for a half hour plus in there

You reminded me of a story...
We had this cornucopia basket that we used for Thanksgiving . It was kept in the kitchen. When my mom got pizzed at Dad, he'd put it on his head like a dunce cap and sulked.
I think you handled it fine.

Lucky for DH, one of those cushy armchairs nr my fireplace. I guess DH doesn't utilize it much with Ryan since he had to ask Ryan where it was.
