Not sure what I am feeling- has anyone had this?
Either it is braxton hicks or she is curling into these positions that make a tight ball like feeling. Does anyone ever get this? It all of a sudden just feels like a tightening in their abdomen?

Yep. This is normally what I feel when I have BH contractions. Just try to make sure you're not having more than 4-6 in an hour. And water tends to help too.

I'm 23 weeks and I've been getting this a lot lately. As JTK said, drink lots of water and try laying down on your side. BH will go away when you change positions or drink lots of water. Its totally normal.
But if you start noticing them coming at regular intervals (3 -5 min apart) more than 4-6 times in an hour and they dont stop after drinking lots of water, then its a pre-term labor concern.

I get that kind of tightening too. My doctor said it's normal, I'm assuming it's just braxton hicks. I don't have any pain with it though, do you?

I get that too. Probably BH. Definately drink water as stated by other posters. You just want to make sure that you are always hydrated.

I agree. Always follow the advice of a nurse!
Sounds like BH, but you don't want your body prepping for labor at 24 weeks.

Sounds like braxton hicks - I'm 24 weeks and I get them every once in a while too. Not painful, but my belly tightens and I get a little breathless. I agree with everyone else's advice (drink water, lay down, take it easy  )
