I hardly ever post. I have never met Gerty or even corresponded with her but she and her family have been in my thoughts for days. I've shed tears reading about her situation. I've checked for updates more times than I can count...
There are many more people than she will ever know pulling for her and praying for her baby boy to be safe.

I have not been affected by something the way I have been affected by this. I don't even know what to say. One looks for reasons. One looks to make peace with things. One questions one's faith. There is no peace with this situation. My heart is torn up and broken for all concerned. I just hope G-d watches over everyone and takes care of this family in their time of need.

It really is unfair. I have never met Gerty but have read many posts from her. She is a sweet sincere person. They are all in my thoughts & prayers.

Miracles do happen! I believe that good things happen to good people. I beleive that Rogan has a different plan and wants to make a grand entrance into this world! I believe in the power of prayer and faith! I believe in Rogan!

I know a lot of you have never met Gerty -- but I can tell you she is a wonderful, amazing person. Her DH is the sweetest guy on earth.
They will be incredible parents.

I think we need to be as positive as possible. I know someone who has had two preemies and when she had the first one, most people didn't think the little girl would make it. I said she would pull through and she is six years old now and happy and healthy.
I think we just need to be as positive as possible. Don't even entertain bad thoughts until the end actually comes.
I hope we see Rogan's smiling face on the boards soon!

I have met Gerty IRL, although briefly. She is a lovely person and will be a wonderful mom.
Gerty, I will be praying for you tomorrow at mass and thinking of the miracle that I hope will happen for you.

I am not a religious person, however, I know many on here are and with tomorrow being Easter, I think there's no better time for something that seems impossible to happen. I will keep having faith in the suposed impossible.

I'm sorry....but the whole situation with Gerty and Rogan is just NOT FAIR in my heart. She tried for so long and went through so many procedures to create Rogan.....and they are wonderful people.
I TRULY wish there was something more we could do for them.
Shana I couldn't agree with you more. It's just not fair. It's not right, and I don't understand. This baby has to be a miracle because there are so many of us praying so hard for him, there is so much pure love pulling for this little man that it has to be alright. It just has to be.

just wanting to add that i too have never met Gerty or even post all that often.... but i am so incredibly moved by this and have been thinking and thinking of them all day long. it is wonderful that so many people on here are praying hard and trying to think positive. i am hoping and praying for a miracle...

I am glad you posted this, because I am so upset, and do not know where to place these feelings. It's NOT fair. Any loss of child is not fair, it's just not supposed to happen this way. So I have to hold on to the hope that Rogan will make it.
Gerty is all I can think about right now, and I am praying and hoping that Rogan can be a miracle. Please let him be okay, all they have gone through, it's just not something I can put my head around, allI know is I want their little boy to survive, I wish there was something I could do. I will pray, thats what I can offer,

I've never met Gerty either but I can't stop thinking about her and the situation they're all facing. I do believe in miracles and am praying very hard for them all.

I agree. Right now we needs prayers for a miracle and lots of positive thoughts for Rogan.
