not sure where to post this question-UPDATE

I have my appointment this coming Friday for my Ultrascreen/NT Scan (whatever it is called). Now for both of my previous pregnancies it was at this test that I found out there was no heartbeat the baby had stopped developing. So far everything looks good with this pregnancy, I am taking Lovenox and baby aspirin to avoid any bloodclots (that is what seems to have been my problem in the past - we shall see)
Now here is my question - although Dr. B. has released me to my OB, I was thinking about calling him to see if he can fit me in tomorrow or Tuesday to do a quick sono to ease my mind. (It has been over a week since my last sono and I just can't help but start to freak out).
Do you think I should ask him or wait til my test on Friday?
Thanks.
~ Nervous Nelly

ETA: I called this morning and have a 3:00 appointment today. I have absolutely no reason to believe that something is wrong other than my history (and my nerves). Keep your fingers crossed my little bean is still cooking.

As someone who has also suffered multiple losses, I would absolutely try to get in for an earlier sono! I know how stressful this must be for you, i never made it past 17wks and I know once i get to that point I will be so nervous!! I'm wishing u tons of luck for your ultrascreen, keep reminding yourself that you are doing everything you can and getting frequently monitored to make sure everything goes perfect this time!!!

Dr. B is so amazing.. and he didn't want to release me until I could see an OB right away.. and also until I felt comfortable. I think if you asked him he would definitely try to get you in for a scan beforehand Chat Icon

I did the exact same thing two weeks ago. I had my NT on a Wednesday and got nervous the week before. Dr.B had just released me but I got nervous again. I did go in for a sono and everything was fine. I am now just waiting for the NT results, everything looked ok. He will def get you in but for me, I wish I had talked myself down before spending the $ on a sono since I don't have out of network coverage with him Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thank you so much girsl!!! It is so hard for me to imagine that this pregnancy is going to turn out differently than the last two.
I know Dr. B. wouldn't mind, I just feel like a complete mess. All the worrying can not be good for me or the baby - I have to find a way to realx.
