Not TTC just yet but so excited...
because I got a box from Amazon today. And tucked in at the bottom was Basal Thermometer 
Now I can start charting! Whooo.

I think you can. I know you can take the temp rectally.
But most people DO take it orally right? LOL
The manual said to take it rectally if you have trouble getting regular temping results via orally...

Of course you can temp vaginally (which is actually recommended) but temping orally is fine too

yes, because i found that doing it orally was all out of whack. sometimes i sleep with my mouth open and apparently that can affect it slightly. vag allegedly gives you a more accurate reading.
or maybe im just strange. also a possibility.
