Not TTC Related... Vacation Planning
I would like to go on an anniversary trip with DH. Anyone have a suggestion for a nice romantic getaway?
Is there place you ladies have gone on your honeymoon that you might suggest?
Thanks
*Also* Has anyone ever taken an Alaska cruise?

We went to St Lucia on our honeymoon and had a great time. Jamaica and the Bahamas are great, too.
DH and I went on an Alaska cruse, and loved it! It was one of my favorite vacations. It was beautiful, sceneic and romantic. (Nothing like cuddling on the deck, sharing a cup of hot chocolate!) We went in July, and it was in the 50s most of the time. The sun didn't set until after 11, which was very cool. FM me if you need more info!

Re: Not TTC Related... Vacation Planning
We recently went to the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico for our anniversary and it was absolutely fantastic. It was a beautiful AI resort & we found it to be very relaxing. The beach was good (I wouldn't say that it was "great"), but the pools were awesome and we liked that it was nice & quiet...It was mostly honeymooners & 30+ folks so it wasn't a wild party place - which is what we wanted.
We went to the new Sandals Antigua Mediterranean Village last year for our honeymoon and it was gorgeous there as well. The food, accomodations & grounds/beach were all great. My dh was very sick so we didn't get to enjoy the resort too much, but we'd definitely like to go back there some day so that we can...
FM me if you'd like to know more about either place
