This is getting out of hand...it was an oversight on my part and I said I would do my best but I don't think that removing someone at this point is fair either.
I work F/T and on my day off try to organize a GTG....just like everyone else here there is a lot going on and I do the best I can including taking a Saturday to host this and pay out of pocket so that the price isn't out of hand (and therefore allow more people the opportunity to join)....so now I am stressed...do i just cancel? 
I don't see anything getting out of hand. If I was last on the list, but someone infront of me was over looked i'd expect to be bumped. I'd INSIST I be bumped. I'm not saying it was anything other than an overlook. It's a lot to keep track of in a short amount of time, understandable. You are doing a wondeful thing planning this for everyone.

for the record Mkr09 took down the offer because I assured her I would do my best and there was no need to give up a spot that would have been for her anyway.
Please don't drag her in...I don't want anyone promised a spot to lose it unless they can't make it.

I think everyone needs to relax. Planning a GTG is REALLY really hard especially when the spots are limited. It was an oversight and I am sure that plenty of people will back out at the last minute to include some of the waitlisters.

THANK YOU! This is what I was trying to say when I first responded...I had no doubt that it would all work out and there was no need to panic and remove someone from a promised spot. The thing isn't until November!
But I am disappointed at how this went down...didn't even get a hour to work on a solution before the attack.

This is why I responded as well. I don't think anyone was attacking...just confused. It also was unclear that you asked her to take down the offer to step aside, makes way more sense. Please, please don't think for one minute anyone was blaming you, I think we all know how difficult it can be to plan this kind of thing. It's much appreciated....don't cancel, we all need this, including you. I hope it works out and Azoodie gets to go too

No one was attacking you Ang. It just didn't and still doesn't make sense. I agree, it is a big deal to plan a GTG like this out. Like you said, it's not until November. That is why I didn't think it would be a big deal that someone that was "promised" a spot was bumped to the top of the waiting list. When I did the count before posting I had assumed I did have a spot since I responded in time.
No biggie, I am sure you will figure it out. These things have a way of working themselves out.

Thanks for taking the time to plan this. I know how time consuming it is and that the fact that you put down the money first for everyone is so generous of you.
Mistakes happen like you said. If people aren't happy, they should try organizing an additional GTG.

ITA with this. There was no attacking. Shouldn't anyone be able to point out the fact that they were overlooked? I thought GTG's were in order of who posted. Therefore the person posting in time would already be "promised" a spot.
It's great of you to set up a GTG, Ang, and I'm sure it'll all work out in the end, but why not make it "right" now. It's not Azad's fault there was an oversight. I think anyone who responded after Azad would be more than understanding that this happened and would be ok with moving to the wait list. I know I would.
Sorry for crashing, I hope you guys have a really great GTG.

I have updated the waitlist to this point...if we get more names I think I will look into planning another GTG so that more people get the chance to attend.
The GTG also received a generous donation for Hershey Bars with personalized wrappers.

Wow. Okay. I am sorry about your miscarriage but you actually stopped talking to me way before that even happened. I didn't even know that was going on, but again I am sorry for your loss.

Oh you were pretty malicious and crossed some major lines that affected me and my family but if you want to come to my gtg and see me then by all means.
