now a little concerned.....Need some hugs--UPDATED--went to Dr
I don't post too much on here asking for hugs, but I need some!
So, Jan 3 (at 22 weeks) woke up to red spotting, went to Dr, did internal sono, said it was probably b/c the placenta was low and it should move up as I grow.
DH had decided we should refrain from intercourse, just to be safe, and we have done nothing.
Noticed over the last day and a half, signs of a yeast infection and cramping a bit. Went to the bathroom today, and there was a little pink mixed witht he discharge (Sorry TMI). I didn't worry, called Dr, was told to c/b after 2 when nurse was in. I went to the bathroom again abotu 5 min ago and it was more pink (on a pantyliner). I am starting to worry that my placenta has not moved up as Dr was hoping. I have done searches on here and internet to signs/symptoms of Placenta Previa and I am sure I am freaking myself out, but it's hard not to worry.
Going to call the Dr's office now.....will update....
Just need some hugs!!!
UPDATE:
Called office they said to come in. Went, saw Dr and now feel like a fool. Like I worried for nothing. I usuallly am not a worrier, but because of bleeding last month I was concerned. He did an internal, said cervix is thick and closed. Also did a culture for which I need to call them in 4 days to confrirm if Yeast Infection. Of course when I am in the office, there is no remnance of pink! He said it may have just been from irritation. Ugh! Why do I let myself worry!
Thanks for all the thoughts and hugs! I need to stop being such a worry wart! Did get to hear his heartbeat...and he must like the Dr's office b/c he was moving up a storm the whole time!!

I know how you feel. My placenta is completely covering my cervix and I most likely have to go for a c-section. Please let us know how your Dr visit goes.

Glad they were able to see you so fast. Thats great news that it is nothing to worry about. Dont be concerned about being a worry wart - better safe than sorry! At least you can rest easy now...
