Now I am Excited....Plans For Teddy's Halloween Themed Birthday Party.
Okay so DH and I sat down and I felt sad that we weren't doing a party for him this year. So we budgeted and decided to do an 12 Adults and 8 kids (thats if my IL's come which they won't because they believe halloween is against the bible.)
So because I have halloween decorations already I figure I can save a ton on decor with that. Here are some Idea's I have: (Any and all suggestions welcome)
Activites:
*Bobbing For Apples
*Bean Bag Toss (A ghost)
*Pinata
*Med size pumpkins all the kids can put sticker faces on.
Food:
Giant Homemade salad of mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots
Penne Ala Vodka (homemade)
Sausage & Peppers (homemade)
2 deep dish pizza's
2 loaves of Italian Bread
Desert:
Chocolate Dipped Frankensteins (pretzels)
Tombstones (Cupcakes, on a stand with some kind of tombstone homemade)
Homemade Cake
Chocolate dipped Ghosts (Chocolate dipped Marshmallows)
Drinks:
Soda, Diet Soda, water, Witch's brew (which is cran grape juice with plastic fingers floating in it.)
I am doing an EVITE as well since it's close friends and some fam.
Decorations:
Ghosts hanging in the tree out back (tootsie pops covered with tissues and hung with strings.)
Stretchable spiderwebs lining the hallway of the house with plastic spiders hanging from it.
Homemade Bats
Homemade Pumpkins
Homemade Witches
Window Clings
Homemade Banner
Halloween Themed Table cloth
Halloween Themed Tooth Picks
Glow In The Dark Cups with Skeltons on them
Fake spiders through out house
Okay...now here is where I need help...cake? I am thinking of doing something myself...so I wanna take a crack at this pro cake thing myself. Any pics for inspiration...do you think this is enough food for the menu....Decorations? Any other ideas?
