NPR: Anyone recommendations on a great steak house in Suffolk?
My husband's birthday is next week and he keeps talking about wanting to go to a really good steak house. Any recommendations in the Suffolk area??

Is Tellers in East Islip/Islip still around? DH used to live there and he said it was a good steakhouse. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I am a Nassau girl

Pace's Steak House in Hauppauge is always packed!!! I heard they are very good in there.

been to all these recommended places and can't go wrong with either one of them. I like Tellers because its closer to me. DH prefers Pace's, there is one in Pt. Jeff and in Hauppauge. Blackstone also offers good sushi and seafood, and is conviently right off of LIE.

Personally, I love Prime, but I've heard Tellers and Paces are great as well.

DH always swore by Pace's in port jeff...they're great, but then we started going to Blackstone's in Melville for Valentine's Days, and went for our 1yr wedding anniversary,
it is hands down his favorite place now, and their seafood and sushi and sides are just as amazing as their steaks (i dont like steak so this is important to me)
