NPR: anyone use vinyl lettering? have a question...
SO, I ordered vinyl lettering from etsy and put them on plastic cups I got at the dollar tree to use as party favors. The vendor said I just peel them and stick them - just like stickers. It worked great....BUT -
It just seems like these letters can just come right off. Like if I use my nail, they can easily be removed. ?
Is there something I should do to help them stay on better? I want the kids to be able to use these cups and have their names stay on them! ugh.
TIA!

You can try heat like from a blow dryer. Just be careful not to apply too much heat and ruin it. Is it a smooth surface? If not, then it might not stay on no matter what. The only other thing is that it just might not be the best kind of vinyl.

Thank you for your reply!
The vendor said it's permanent outdoor vinyl and it should stick without a problem. But she said I could try using the iron very carefully to hear seal them. She said there are videos on you tube but i can't find any. And I am too scared to use the iron!!!
I might try your hair dryier idea.
THANK YOU!
