The hotel is the Sheraton LaGuardia and it's on 39th street - turn right onto it from Main - then all you do is walk to the end of 39th street and make a right onto Prince - Top Point is about 1.5 blks up the street on the right. So much easier than worrying about metered parking.

i used hair village in queens last year and it was seriously the best investment! haha I have thick/wavy italian hair and being able to let it air dry and be silky straight was amazing. I was hoping to find a place closer to home as well, im out east on the island. If anyone finds any on eastern long island, let me know!

I would love to do this, but I just feel that my hair is too frizzy and course...that it would come out looking burnt.

I wish I had a pic of my hair before I started JHS- it was a MESS
and now it's perfect in the rain
my friend daughter had a really bad hair- it would hurt her to brush- after 1 treatment - her hair is just like mine- it's amazing

has anyone gotten this done that has highlighted hair? I am getting mixed messages... that you can get it done if you have highlights, but then can't highlight again until it all grows out???

you can get it done- they wont leave the chemicals on as long- I had a few area's that I wasn't 100% happy with (when I had highlights)
you need to wait 3 weeks inbetween getting JHS and highlights

you need to wait 3 weeks inbetween getting JHS and highlights
Does it matter what color highlights you have (mine are very blonde)?

Thats where i think I will wind up, she paid 150 for shoulder length hair just a few weeks ago
Thats where I went.. I've dont it twice but I stoppped because I like to highlight my hair and it was really bad doing 2 processes. I mean, it was amazing, I got out of the shower and it dried pin straight, but it was horrible on my hair.

I would love to get my hair straightened but am afraid it will be flat.
I know it is flat right after treatment. Is it permanent or can you blow dry or curl it to add some body ?
