NPR- My Aunt passed away...
and I don't think I can make it to the funeral...She lived in NH... My Mom, DS, and I all were up there a little over a week ago to visit her and we all came home sick with a stomach bug. It left us all wiped out. There is no way we can all drive up there. (5+ hour car ride)...And I feel so bad....We are too tired to leave the house for more then an hour..I have to call my cousin tomorrow and tell her. We talked to her while we were up there and said we would be back for the funeral... I know she will understand...But I feel terrible that I can't go...

Thank you everyone...It hit me hard. Even though I knew it was coming, it was hard. She wanted to make it until St Patricks Day...Her holiday!!! And she did. She got to celebrate it with family and friends. We saw her a little over a week ago and she was looking good. We knew she only had 2-4 weeks....We spent many summers at her house in NH as kids....And I remember it all... We are continuing the tradition of going up there for summer vacations with DS. We have been up there 3 times since October...I also feel so bad that I can't get up there for the funeral..
