NPR: sentimental christening gift ideas
I will be giving my nephew money for the future for his christening, but I would like to also give something special. I am not the godmother, so I hesitate to get a cross (necklace or for his room) msince I think godparents often do this. My sister is giving a nicely framed bible verse for his room.
Any suggestions? A bible (if you have any specific suggestion I would love to hear!), a book? I am open to any ideas! TIA

I gave my niece this for her christening
Christening bonnet/handkerchief
It's a christening bonnet that can be used as a handkerchief at the wedding for a girl or be given to the future wife to use at the wedding.
