NT Ultrascreen Questions
How long does it take and does Madonna do them in the evening? Dr. Hanauer's office is going to start doing them at the office, but not just yet (FYI to those that are patients at Dolisi/Hanauer ofc).

Takes less than an hour but I had it done at Nassau Radiology I think.
I can't wait for Dr Hanauer to start having these things done in her office!
(For next time around)
I don't know if they do it in the evening. I think I went into work late and had my DH come with me!

they don't take very long at all...i think with my son it took about an hour also. this time around i'm going to madonna, and i have the last appt- i believe at 6:30.....tried to make it as late as possible since my husband is coming home from working in the city. pretty sure thats as late as they go. good luck!!

at which Madonna? I know some of them are notorious for crazy-long waits. I went to the Babylon one and didnt' have a problem at all.

I am 8 weeks also. Dr. Dolsi is my dr. When are you suppose to schedule a ultrascreen test? I have a dr's appointment next tuesday.

Thanks when I went the the dr on 8/15 I was 6w 4d. I saw a nurse instead of my dr.. I thought my due date was March 30, 2008 when they did ultrasound my due date is now 4/05/08. This is my first time seeing dr dolisi since I had my ectopic in March. Did you get another ultrasound when you saw the dr yesterday? What is a Ultrascreen?

I had an sono when I went this week b/c I had to go to the ER for a little bleeding last week. So, technically I've had 3 sonos so far (one at 7w2d, one at the ER at 8w3d and this wk with the nurse practicioner at 9w2d). When you see Dr. Dolisi he will give you a folder with a bunch of information (if you didn't already get it at your 6w visit). It has a brochure on the ultrascreen which is basically a sonogram and bloodwork to give you an idea of the probability of downs syndrome. They measure the folds in the back of the baby's neck. It is non-invasive. HTH.
