numbness in hands and fingers?
For the last few days I've woken up in the middle of the night with numbness in whatever hand was under me -right or left side. Generally I wake up every couple of hours to wee-wee, so it was just a matter of changing sides when I go back to bed.
Now at the office, I am noticing the numbness in the middle of the work day. Anyone else have this?
Oh - i've also had a on-again, off-again headache since yesterday afternoon.
Thanks

Re: numbness in hands and fingers?
Hey honey...I think I told you about my hands when we met up...well..I still have it and its getting worse My doctor said that as the uterus grows it puts pressure on the nerves that flow to my hands and arms so its normal and expected.

Re: numbness in hands and fingers?
I posted something very similar last week. Mine started at night, now it's off & on throughout the day. I hate it, but the dr. said it was common.

Yes, I have read that it is common. I was getting the same thing at night-waking up and hands/arms were numb. I haven't had it during the day.
I am having the same issue. It is terrible.

Re: numbness in hands and fingers?
I had the same issue and was told its was pregnancy induced carpel tunnel. I started wearing wrist braces on both wrists to bed and the numbness both at night and during the day is gone. It really helped.

Re: numbness in hands and fingers?
I got tingling and what seemed to be carpal tunnel when I was pregnant. the good news is it went away shortly after I gave birth.

Re: numbness in hands and fingers?
I had it with my daughter. It sux. Eventually I had it in both hands. I wore a brace for a little bit on the hand that was the worst. I gave up. I can tell you it went away while I was in the hospital after I had my daughter BUT my handwriting has never been the same. I cannot write neatly for as long as I did unless it's on a chalkboard

Re: numbness in hands and fingers?
I had it when I was pregnant with Hayley. It started around 15 weeks and didn't stop until about 3 weeks after she was born.
I found a brace that is soft but looks like a cast. I wore that at night on the hand that was the worst. It helped, at least I didn't wake up because of my numb hands. Before wearing the brace I would wake up and shake my arm to help get the blood flowing again.
