Nursery colors... need green ideas
My husband and i aren't TTC yet, but we're planning on painting what is going to be the nursery. Since we're not going to find out the sex, i was thinking a green color.
Can you ladies who have green post a picture of your nursery or give me some green (preferrably BM) paint choices?
Thanks!

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
well maybe i should ask... did you girls choose your bedding first and then paint? or did you paint the room and then find bedding to match?

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
well, you know what I did...we had the room painted...and then just chose something to go with it...there are tons of bedding choices out there for when you are ready (we still say go with number 1)

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
I would definitley pick out your bedding first.
Here is the green I used in my guest room which would be nice and soothing in a baby's room. It;s BM Prescott green. Chatham-Chick also has a nice green in her DD's nursery. I also like BM Dry Sage.

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
i actually started out with material that i liked, which my mother used to make curtains for the nursery. using colors from that material, we picked colors for our bedding (mom made that too ) and picked our wall color.
personally, i would start out with bedding that you like and go from there.

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
BM Harbortown Green. I started out with my comforter set and went from there. I bought about 3 samples until we found the one. I wanted go as light as possible to keep it light and airy since I went with cherry furniture. I have more pics in my album feel free to peek. Good Luck Image Attachment(s):

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
I don't have a picture, but we used a really pretty green in our living room called " Peaceful Jade". It would look great in a nursey. The paint is BM.

we picked our bedding first, took the wallpaper border to Home Depot and had them match the paint colors to the bedding.

We chose the bedding first and then the paint color. We used Wales Green from Aura paint. There are pictures of the nursery in my photo albums.

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
I dk how to post pics--I will when my nursery is done--although my babies are 6 months in a week..ha the bedding will be in. I striped the walls a soft green and ecru. You use painters tape. My bedding is topsy turvy circus toile in sage. it is beautiful and goes with everything pretty much. Good luck!

Re: Nursery colors... need green ideas
We have a yellow and green nursery. We picked the bedding first and then matched the paint. The paint was American Tradition from Lowe's - the green is Herb Cornucopia (6005-5C), the yellow on top is Pecan Cream (3006-4B) and the yellow inside the border is Lemon Cream (3006-4C). It was so hard to choose the paint but I am so happy with how it looks in the room. Pics are in my album.
