Nursery feedback needed:
I don't want to do anything too babyish and I'm also not into themes. So, I am having a hard time coming up with ideas for DS's room.
What do you think of this:
The crib and furniture is white and we have a white chair rail and white shelving.
I am think of painting the bottom half of the walls blue (not a light blue) and the top half yellow.
The sheet set, crib skirt and curtains would be in a yellow gingham.
I found these sailboat prints I would frame in white and hang on the walls:
We would have stuffed animals on the shelves too, and his name on one wall-so there will be baby elements too.
Thoughts?

Love those prints!!!! The bright colors are a great idea. We have colorful art framed on DD's walls too and her walls are painted yellow and whenever she's in her room (being changed, etc) she looks around like crazy.

My "theme" is really in wall art work too. Easy to change. I have white furniture. I did not want anything too babyish either.

I'm not into "themes" for rooms, etc. either (you KNOW I am for parties though  ), but it's all about the feel of the room...and this sounds like it would definitely work!

Party themes are awesome! It's bedroom themes I have issues with (for me, not other people).
SMLD-that's what I was thinking-we can just change out the pictures if we get sick of a sailboat look.
