Nursing School personal statement help

So.. I have to write a letter as to why I should get into nursing program.. but I am such a bad writer.... I'm also not exactly sure what they are looking for in the letter as there are many applicants.

Has anyone had to write a letter and have any suggestions??

I had to write a letter for my application to dental school. I wrote about my ambitions and why i chose the dental field (basically to help low income families that couldn't afford dental care, etc...) Just write why you want to become a nurse and what you feel you can contribute to your furture nursing career. Hope this helps you a little.
