Nut Allergy Moms & Halloween
Is there a list of candy that we know is safe? Aside from just basically looking up every single candy's list of ingredients?
We just got invited to a Halloween party and I'm already anxious about the holiday.

Re: Nut Allergy Moms & Halloween
DS has an allergy to all tree nuts. But I do allow him to eat foods with labels "may be processed in the same facility as tree nuts" and alike.
He is allowed to have M&Ms, Kit Kats, pretzels, hershey kisses, hershey bars, lollipops, chips, candy corn.
As far as parties are concerned, I'm pretty vocal about DS's allergy. Any party we are invited to the parents are typically aware of his allergy and have always been very accommodating to it.

Re: Nut Allergy Moms & Halloween
thanks-- any other moms with input?
Birthday parties are easy, because usually it's just pizza (which is safe) and I bring a cupcake from a nut free bakery. Something where there is food/candy everywhere scares me!!
