NYC DOE Teachers - coverage ?
Does anyone have anything but GHI? I am wondering if some of the other plans cover infertility and IVF but I am having a hard time finding any information.
Also - if I used up all my coverage with GHI if I switch during open market will a new plan allow me to use their coverage for IVF or would I be considered having a pre-existing condition?

NYC DOE Teachers - coverage ?
I believe we have one other plan that offers coverage for IVF. However, you would have to pay for meds since that coverage would be used with the 3 cycles. I would ask your RE's financial office....that is where they told me we had another option I just can't remember who. If you get any info, please share. Best of luck!

My friend exhausted her ghi IVF and had to switch but she switched to Aetna. It's not part of the doe benefits she said she pays for it herself

I know the other option is HIP but I have no clue on what they cover vs GHI

We have their HIP plan and we have NO IVF coverage but unlimited IUI's.
