NYC Half: Review
Most AMAZING half of my life!! My time wasn't the best, 2:08:52, but the experience was unbeatable!!
What a beautiful way to see NYC. No cars in Times Square! How cool is that!?
At the end we ran through the same tunnel that you run through in the tunnel to towers race but we ran away from the towers (which was so cool to see up close on foot without traffic) and toward the south street seaport. It's HOT in there!!!!
Overall it was just an amazing experience! I will apply to that lotto every single year!

Congrats!!! I loved it too! Finished in 1:52:11. It was my second half marathon and such an awesome experience. I HATED the Battery Park Tunnel though---it felt like it went forever!
Can't wait to do it next year too!

This was my first half and I really enjoyed running it. I finished at 1:59:45 which I was happy with.
I really liked the course and the thought of running down Times Square was one of the main reasons I signed up. However, I also wasn't crazy about the tunnel. Maybe because it was at the end. I kept literally looking for the light at the end of the tunnel! :)
Weather was great, crowds were awesome! Made for a great experience!
Great job to all who ran!

congrats all!! this was my 2nd NYC half, and 5th half overall. I didn't PR, but it was still a great race nonetheless. Now I have 4 weeks to get in shape for the MORE half. Anyone else doing that one too??
