NYC library and the Kindle
I didn't really look into it, but I noticed when downloading books onto my Nook, there was an option to download onto a kindle.
Hope this helps someone.

Yes, and Nassau started doing it also.
I have a Nook but I noticed both have an option for Kindle.

It's all public libraries that use Overdrive as their aggregator (which is probably 90% of public libraries). Began September 21st - FINALLY!
