I live in Queens. I have the FP lights and sounds one. It's OK. There is a lot of static. And, my friend has a different one and she gets lots of static too. I am also always picking up walkie talkies and stuff like that. There is an executive car company across the street from me, so I think I pick up the dispatch on that.

Is your apartment large? For me, it was a waste of money anyway. I have a one bedroom, converted to a two bedroom and I can hear him in every room of the house.

My apartment is not large at all. In fact, because of this I was thinking of not getting one. However, after thinking about it more and talking to people I think i want it more for the video than the audio since I am sure I will hear him no problem in here. I just know how nuerotic I am and rather than waking him up every two min when he is in the br to make sure he looks ok i figure i can peak on the monitor. But then again, I've never done this before so maybe I have no idea what I am talking about!
