nyc teachers how does getting new glasses work
I went and got my eye exam and now I want to go and pick out the glasses. Do I have to call the uft and get the 75 voucher first or I can do that after I pay for them and be reimbursed? TIA

I think you have to get the voucher first because it has "valid" dates and I don't think you will get reimbursed for a receipt not in that date range. If you order the voucher online it comes within a few days.

its much easier to get the voucher first. if you apply for the reimbursement, it takes "nycdoe" time aka forever. and sometimes they give you the run around.
