NYC Teachers...Cap on # of students questions
How many kids can be in a kindergarten class?
How many kids can be in an inclusion class? Is it the same as regular ed?

i don't know about in reg kindergarten class but...
in a kindergarten CTT, 2 years ago it was 25 *in my school* but uppergrades it was a much larger number but a 40/60 ratio special ed/general ed

i think the cap for k-2 is 29 and 4-5 is 32.
inclusion (ctt) should be the same #, btu the ratio of gen ed to spec ed is supposed to be 60/40. although.. some schools find a way to get around it.

The contract states 18 for PreK, 25 for kindergarten, and 32 for all other grades

Inclusion classes : NO more than 40% of the class can be students with IEP's.
