OB/GYN's in Port Jefferson Area
I am in search for a very good and patient OB/GYN in the Port Jefferson area. I have heard about Dr. Edwards from Suffolk County OB/GYN but I also heard that because it is a OB/GYN Group you do not always get to see that doctor. Is that true? I want one doctor to take care of me. Not fifteen!!
If anyone can give me any info that would be so helpful. Thank you so much in advance!!

Suffolk OB GYN has you see several of the drs You could request the same doc when you go
I know many people that do that

I see Dr. Dana Brenner and nurse practitioner/midwife Michelle Mayer.
They are located in the Davis professional park on 347 and I LOVE them.
They have great hours during the week (open till 9pm) and have been AWESOME so far in monitoring me and so forth (I have PCOS and am on Clomid).
The number is 631.331.8777
They share an office with Dr. Gustavo San Roman who was HIGHLY rec'd as well but he didnt take my insurance at the time I started going there.

I see Dr. Strittmatter at Suffolk OB/GYN. I used to see Dr. Edwards but he tends to be very busy because he is so well liked. I have been seeing Dr. Dennis Strittmatter for about 3 years and I have not had any problems getting in to see him.

I love Stony Brook Gynecology and Obstetrics...they are located on 25A in Setauket next to the Marios shopping center. There number is 751-9595. There is four doctors in the group that deliver and I have heard great things about all 4.

I go to them also....and they have been awesome so far. I didn't have a regular OB/GYN when we decided to start TTC, when I got my BFP a relative recommended them and the office is great.

i use Dr. Patton who i love.. i would also recommend Dr. Blasyck and Arato, Dr. San Roman, Dr. Erhardt, and Dr. Ninia... (i work in the field)

I believe they do. My cousin's wife goes there and they have GHI and they take her insurance. I would just give them a call and ask. 631-331-0500

I switched to Dr Ninia too from a female ob and love Dr Ninia (and Cecilia, his np!) - it was the best move I ever made!
