I commented on this on the fhf board. While we don't have all the details, outside of medical reasons for this child being obese, this is child abuse. The parent is killing this child - slowly but is significantly shortening this child's life expectancy. I'm not sure if foster care is the right way to go but something has to be done. Abuse is abuse and the child needs help.
