observation choices this year? DOE
I'm an untenured teacher, and chose the 3 informal and 1 formal option last year. I was very happy with my formal, and might want to pick the 4 informal this year (anyone will effective or higher can choose this option).
Is it OK to choose the 4 informal, or are you supposed to have a formal every year until you are tenured?

I picked 6 informals last year and plan on picking 4 informals this year.
This is my 2nd year in the DOE.

When I went to the tenure meeting at the UFT they recommended having two formals as part of your tenure portfolio.
