Occupational Therapist
Any advice on had to get an occupational therapist through your insurance. Our sd did not approve anything but I think based on the evaluation it would be beneficial for my ds to receive some.
Any advice
TIA

Re: Occupational Therapist
I would call your ins comp and find out the names of participating pediatric OTs in your area and find out what the co-pay would be.

Typically you need to get an OT eval and recommendation for therapy for the insurance to pay for it. Some require a prescription or referral from the primary doctor, some don't. I would give them a call and ask what you need to do to get the ball rolling.

Re: Occupational Therapist
You will probably need a prescription from the pediatrician. We had to get one even to get services through CPSE and CSE.
