Occupational therapy
the script is to authorize services. your dr needs to write down, how many times a week and for how long each session is
example: occupational therapy 4x45 weekly

Re: Occupational therapy
My DD gets all services (OT/PT/speech) at school, and OT is the only one we needed a script for. In EI we needed it for all, but now in CPSE, only for OT. The school gave us a form to just have the doc sign which works as the script for all year.

Occupational therapy
PT, OT and ST services require an Rx from the MD for EI services. This has to do with NYS policy. PT and OT are considered more physical manipulations so in essence, the MD providing the Rx is stating that the child is OK to rec the service without restriction. Needing an Rx for speech is a newer requirement and we're still trying to figure out why the state is now mandating this.
