Ocean City or Lake George?
Which would you prefer for 3 nights in July for DH and I plus our 5 year old DD and 8 year old DS. I'm looking at either the Princess Royale (MD) or the Surfside Inn (LG). Thanks!

Ocean City because I also prefer a beach to a lake. I know a lot of people who go to Ocean City every year and love it.

Ocean city!
I live 1 hour from lake George. Lakes are not my thing. (LI transplant - lol).

Ocean City. The lake is still soo cold you won't be able to go in and enjoy.

I didn’t love Lake George.
The only good thing is that Saratoga race track opens in July and is fun to visit. It’s very close to Lake George. They also have a country fair in July in Saratoga. If you are doing that weekend, that’s stuff to do.

I didn’t love Lake George.
The only good thing is that Saratoga race track opens in July and is fun to visit. It’s very close to Lake George. They also have a country fair in July in Saratoga. If you are doing that weekend, that’s stuff to do.
Not to mention the hotels up there are not up to my standards. All very 1950s/60s motel style. Turns me off.
Except the Sagamore but thats pricey for that area

There IS a new Courtyard right across from the lake, that looks nice compared to everything there.
