October Babies - how are they sleeping
Tyler goes down at 8:30 - will wake on most nights at 2am. Gets a bottle (6oz) and then is back to sleep until 5am, gets another bottle (6oz). Then back to sleep until 7:30 ish.
Is this the norm?
ETA: How old is your DC? Tyler will be 12 weeks this Thursday

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
william gets a bath btwn 9-10, i feed him a 6oz warm bottle (during the day its room temp) and put him to bed. He sleeps 8 hrs straight - sometimes he wakes up looking for his pacifier but falls right back to sleep as soon as i give it to him.
He wakes up either 5 or 6 am - give him another 6oz bottle and falls asleep for 3-4 hrs. then hes up most of the day witha couple of small half hr catnaps during the day

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
Usually around 5-6 hrs straight depending on how gassy he is. Lately about 9PM-3AM, then nurses and is up around 6am grunting with gas. It takes a little for him to work that out, once he does, he's in the swing for a while.
ETS: He is 10 wks on Friday.

that sounds just like Ian. he'll be 12 weeks on sunday. during the week i get him up at 6 for daycare and he'll hvae a 6oz bottle then when he gets there he'll nap for another hour. during the day he takes 3 half hour naps. but he's eating 6oz every 3 hours.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
DD sleeps from 8-9 hours a night, wakes up, nurses and naps for 2-3 hours. Last night she slept 10.5 hours, nursed, and napped for one more hour. I don't want to jinx it! She is nursing so she feeds on demand, usually every three hours or so.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
DS is breastfed. He will sleep 3 hours for the first stretch, and then will wake up every 1-2 hours from there until 7 a.m. Most times, he wakes up from the gas.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
Joshua is 13 weeks. He usually goes to sleep between 8:30-9 and sleeps until about 3:30AM, has a bottle and sleeps again until 6:30 am at which point he is up for the day.
We just went through a horrible week though. He was waking up 3 times a night! 12, 2AM and 3AM and then up for the day at 6:30AM like usual. Lasted exactly one week. Tuesday he slept until 2 AM (relief) and last night back to 3:30 AM. And, he went back to sleep this morning at 6:30 when I gave him his paci. Don't know if maybe going back to sleep at 6:30 will be a new trend.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
it is kinda random here. They go to sleep usually around 9:30 pm and sleep till 4:00-5:00 on average, get a bottle then 6 oz and back to sleep till 8:00-8:30am.
But it varies ..like last night they both went down 10:30-11:00 pm and Chloe slept till 6:30...had a bottle and went back down till 10:00am. Sydney slept till 4:00 am...had bottle and back down till 10:00 am.
they were 3 months this week.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
Luce is on a similar schedule to Tyler.
the only difference is, he doesn't go "down" until after 10 pm. before that he's on my lap, from about 7:30 on, alternating sleeping and eating. if I try to put him down before that, he wakes up.
he will then wake up sometimes between 2 and 3, feed off of one breast. sleep until 5:30-6 ish then take at least one breast...falls back asleep until 7-7:30.
I love him. did I mention that

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
DS is 11 weeks old. He had a pretty good sleep schedule up until about 4 days ago. He would take his last night bottle between 10-11pm and sleep for 4-5 hours. He is only taking 3-4 oz per bottle. Then he would wake up and take another bottle and sleep for 2-4 more hours. The other night, he fell asleep at 930pm and slept until 2am. Had a bottle and went back to sleep. But he woke up every 2 hours to eat more. Not a good night. He can't seem to drink anymore then 3-4 oz per bottle. Last night he slept from 1130pm-430am. Drank a bottle while he was still half asleep. Then he woke up at 620am screaming. Put binky in and he slept until 830am. I thought we were doing good with his night schedule. Boy was I wrong.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
DS will be 10 weeks this friday. He has a 5 oz bottle (breast milk) around 9:00 and sleeps until 3:30-4:30. Has another bottle and goes back to sleep till 7:30-8:30. He does a lot of stirring from 6 am on, so I give him his pacifier to keep him sleeping for a bit longer. He has his morning "breakfast" bottle around 8-8:30 and is up for an hour or so and goes back to sleep in his swing for 2 hours or more till its time for the next bottle.

Seems like the norm to me (although I'm not sure if there really is a norm bc all babies r so diff).
Santino usually goes down around 10, up around 2:30 for a feeding then back down until around 5:30. Up again at 5:30 for a feeding then back down until around 7:30 for the day. I EBF. Things still change and shift here and there

Santino schedule is almost identical! Even though he falls asleep at 7:30 sometimes for a really long nap I can't but him down to "bed" at that time or he will wake up!

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
DS is 9wks and is still very random. I BF, pump and supplement. His last bottle of the night is usually a 6 oz bottle of formula and that is between 9-10 pm and he sleeps until 5:30-6am. But then there are some nights like last night that all he wanted to do was nurse at 8;30pm and passed out until 6:30am....

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
Michael is 10 weeks tomorrow and his Colic has just started to get better and he has his bath at 8pm then I BF and he falls asleep between 9-10pm and wakes up between 2-3am, I BF again and he goes back down an hour later for about 3 hours.
Any suggestions on how to get him to sleep for longer stretches? I am going back to work in 3 weeks and 6 hours of sleep broken up my an hour is going to make it difficult.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
DD is 12 wks and gets her last bottle at around 9pm-10pm and doesn't fall asleep until 11-12...then she sleeps usually for 5 hours(once in a while she has done 6 or 7) then I bf her so I don't have to get up and warm a bottle and she will sleep again till about 8-I will bf again and she will sleep untill around 11, sometimes she will go straight through till 11 and not wake up in between...I go back to work next week and she will be going to daycare there so I am sure this will change soon.

EXACTLY what Lola's doing
She'll wake more like 1/1:30... I nurse her last around 8 and she'll be in the crib by 9/9:30.

Re: October Babies - how are they sleeping
DD is almost 12 weeks. She usually goes down around 10:30 (after her last feeding) and will sleep until 3 - 3:30. Then she gets a bottle and goes back down until 7 or 8.
We just went through a few weeks where she was staying up most of the night...but things seem to have gotten back to normal the past few days.
