I had the WORST insomnia with my 1st pregnancy but not until the 2nd trimester...I've had a few nights of it already but I'm hoping it's just excitement - only about 7 weeks.
Anxious to go to my 1st appt which is Friday - it feels so far away!

Yes! The other day I was riding the train to work and I was listening to a musical soundtrack on my IPOD. Started crying on the train like a crazy person because the music made me sad. I'm 10 weeks too (not officially on the April list yet until my 12 week sono)

Only a few tears, but I'm not a big crier to begin with. My mom on the other hand is in tears at the drop of a hat.

Yep and yep. My skin sucks right now.
I started waking up and staying awake from 3-5am every day. Not so great considering now that I'm back to work I have to get up at 5.

VERY emotional. 9/11 is a sad day to begin with but I literally cried the entire day...just couldn't stop.

Try not to worry. I will have a couple of days where I feel pretty good and start to freak out. Then all the symptoms come roaring back and I end up being mad at myself for not enjoying the symptom free days!

oooo so exciting! good luck!! MIne is the 30th...i'm so impatient to see the baby again!
Are you going to ask if they could guess boy or girl? My SIL said they gave her a like a 65% that they think it's a girl at 12 weeks and they confirmed it later at her 20 week sono.

How far along are you? Some of my symptoms went away/decreased like the very tender breasts, bloating, extreme fatigue but now I have the nausea and vomiting. They say that it could fade in a couple of weeks...are you ending your first trimester?
I'm sure everything is FINE. My sil had no major symptoms for her first pregnancy and now is dying during her second. my niece is gorgeous and healthy

At 10 weeks, my nausea and food aversions are pretty much gone. I was never very nauseous to begin with but lately there's none. The only thing is that I'm really tired, but I'm still adjusting to being back to work after the summer. I'm always super tired the first few weeks of school.
I totally get not "feeling pregnant" though. I sometimes still find the whole thing hard to believe!

My nausousness really kicked up the last 2 weeks or so. The worst is at night though. And yesterday I developed a fun new symptom - gagging - for no particular reason at all. How fun!!!!
My NT Scan is scheduled for next Thurs 9/22. My ob/gyn pulled some strings to get me the test at 11.5 weeks instead of 12 b/c the last time I had this test done, it was a disaster and I lost the baby (not b/c of the test - just what the test found). I'm on pins and needles until this test is over. And if it goes well, we'll be asking if they can tell if its a boy or girl yet.
