HAPPY NOVEMBER!! We can now say "Hey, I'm having a baby next month!" lol
Any updates???
We're finished getting DD's room done and will be working on baby's next weekend. Physically feeling good. Kind of uncomfortable of course (can't even bend to get my socks on) but nothing worth complaining about.  I'm just in total shock at how fast this pregnancy has gone and so looking forward to the holidays and of course hoping this baby doesn't dawdle like his big sister did. PLEASE come on or before due date

We just painted both DS's new room and DD's nursery this weekend (well not me but we hired a guy). So the house is still a bit disheveled but feel like we took a big step.
32 days out and feelin HUGE. Not too much to complain about though...getting ready for the day!

We are gonna do our DD's room after she is born since she will be rooming in with us the first couple months. So we found no need to rush around since she wouldn't use it right away anyway. Got everything else prepped and ready though.
Other than that, sciatica pain is bothersome but am counting down the days.

I can't believe how fast this year has gone- I remember the day I found out I was pregnant..I can't believe he will be here next month!
The only complaints I have is my feet/ankles have been swelling sooo bad and my sciatica hurts every now and then. I'm also starting to get annoyed when people tell me I look like I'm about to pop at any second or "maybe there's another baby in there and you just don't know it- that happens ya know" ...I still have 5 weeks people thank you for making me feel larger lol

And another check-in for everybody else!! I'm officially in my 9th month now. Only 4 weeks till due date. I know some of you are even closer to induction, c-section, or due dates. How's everybody holding up??

Got my c-section date: December 30! Looks like I will be the one finishing up the month!
I finally have an appetite and put on my very first pound since getting pregnant. And my belly had suddenly popped! Baby is constantly kicking my bladder! So grateful my office is about 20 steps from the bathroom at work!
Glad to hear everyone else is doing well and getting excited!

I know how that feels. #1 didn't show until after a long induction at 41wks. It was so frustrating. But in the end she was the healthiest, most beautiful girl and totally worth the wait. Still, I hope this one doesn't follow in her footsteps. lol. I go for my 36wk appointment tomorrow. Not sure if they'll be checking progress though. I know I have to be swabbed for the Group B Strep deal (ugh) so maybe while she's up there... lmao. My OB says though that if he doesn't come by due date (12/15) then induction will be between 12/16-12/18. I really hope he comes on his own though.

Yay for having a date!! Since it's c-section it's more set - I feel like it would be interesting to be due right at the end of Dec or beginning of Jan and not know which year s/he will be born in. haha!
Glad you're doing well and feeling baby move a lot, even though bladder is no fun. I'm there too.

Offically 37 weeks today! Went to the dr last night and was telling her some things going on and she said they are contractions. This is my first so she said not to get too excited as this can last a little while before he comes. My only question is .....have you been getting internals yet? I thought they start around 6 weeks and I haven't gotten one done yet.
Hope everyone is feeling good! We're almost there!!

Hahah - that's really funny. A lot of people keep telling me I need to get this baby out before the end of the year. I'm due January 15th.

I'm 36wks now and have not begun internals yet. I have an appointment tomorrow so I'm going to ask about that.

My Dr started internals at 36 weeks when I got the Group B strep and they do them every week now. DS was 5 days late but came on his own so hoping little girl will do the same. I'm so done. Commuting into the city is getting really hard so hoping to work from home the last week. My belly is basically dragging on the ground!!

Hey ladies, it's almost December.
I have my 36 weeks appointment scheduled for Monday and I will have an internal done. I hope baby doesn't hang in there for too long, but I want him to wait until Grandma gets here. I will need the help as I have an older DS.

Had my 38 week sono. Baby measuring already at 7lb 12 oz..but i heard not to trust those measurements too much. Have one last sono next week...that if baby doesn't come on her own by then.

Tomorrow's DECEMBER!!!!!!  It's finally our month!
Let us all know how you're doing!! Two of my friends who were due in December have already had their babies. I can't believe it! My countdown says 14 more days. Ah!
I just had my 38wk appointment today. Dr is planning to strip membranes next week if baby is in the right position. If that doesn't work out and I don't go into labor on my own, she's already scheduled me for an induction on Dec 14th. Holy crap. Blink and it'll be here. Can't wait to meet this little guy

It's all coming so fast! Good luck, Jamester, I hope you'll have time to update sometime after baby arrives. I can't believe we're all already at that point of having dates set and getting ready to go.
gforce, that's awesome that you're progressing like that already. I wish I was. I'm only 1 cm and 0% effaced. I'm just glad that my OB is willing to get things going by my due date rather than making me wait to 41wks like I had to with #1. I really don't want to be in the hospital over Christmas.
