haha I know what you mean about the baby pressing onto the bladder... I'm 31 weeks and I am already so uncomfortable. Sleeping at night i can't find a good position, I wake up with charlie horses, I'm always tired...plus trying to get my son ready and out the door in the morning is always fun.. I thought to myself this morning, how am I going to get through another 9 weeks! I just hope I make it to 36 weeks without going into labor!
I have been waking up with Charlie Horses too!!! lol why in the world does this happen? I can see peeing often..back aches ...but Charlie Horses?? lol
Ugh they are the worst! I wake up trying not to scream in pain. Then my calf is so sore it hurts to walk on it!

I just had one last night!!! I try not to scream either but last night my husband happened to be off so I made him massage it quickly lol. It's so sore today too!! So annoying! I've heard it's from not drinking enough water but I drink 100 oz everyday!!

Re: ***OFFICIAL JULY 2015 BABIES THREAD***
Hi Ladies!
Had my 31 week sonogram on Monday. Can't believe my next appointment is now in 2 weeks and then I move to a weekly schedule two weeks after that!
Baby is HEAD DOWN! She is facing the left for now and I can tell where her butt and feet and knees are when she's moving around so that's been fun to at least feel like I can guess better.
She said the baby can still go back but odds are good that she'll stay down if she's down already.
Also, give or take a little, but the baby weighs about 3 lbs, 13 oz and is in the 44 percentile, which is cool because we're shorty's so I feel like that all makes sense.
Only 6 more weeks until I'm full term! Yay!!

Try eating bananas for the potassium. That makes a big difference

How exciting! I go to my OB tonight for a checkup. I guess I will see how big she is measuring. I am 32.5 weeks so I figure after today I will start going every 2 weeks until I hit 36 weeks then weekly appointments. I can't believe how fast its going!

Re: ***OFFICIAL JULY 2015 BABIES THREAD***
So last night they did fundal height and sono, I am currently measuring about 2 weeks ahead again and they told me baby is already measuring 5.5 lbs! I was like, seriously? I have about 7 weeks to go! lol. The doctor estimates a 9lb baby in the end, but we'll see. They also told me my DS was going to be 9lbs but he ended up at just under 8 lbs so who knows!

Ladies let's talk take home outfit!! I have no clue what to buy for the baby.... I'm sure the weather will be really warm but do I short sleeves and just put a light blanket if I need to? Or are you doing long sleeves? Post pics of your outfits I'd love to get ideas!!

I don't have the outfit picked out either but I was thinking prob a cute onesie and leggings or a little comfy dress. Of course I'll have a light receiving blanket too but you def don't wanna dress them too warm especially since its gonna be summer! I would almost do like the one piece little rompers that they have for boys!

Re: ***OFFICIAL JULY 2015 BABIES THREAD***
I'm not sure yet what to do as far as take-home outfit. It'll be hot because it'll be July, but the baby will mostly be in the air-conditioned car and then my house, so I wanted to do a onesie with pants and side snap top with hat. Infants are supposed to wear another layer more than you, so I figure that will be good and I'd make sure it's not too much depending on the weather that day.
For in the hospital, though, they recommend just a diaper and a shirt like this, which I'll be bringing with me, and a blanket since the doctors come in so often for check-ups and they'll have lots of diaper changes that I've heard it's easier if that's all the baby wears IN the hospital.

The hospital puts them in kimono side snap white tees. You don't need to bring them with you. as for putting on an extra layer, not always. The rule of thumb is if you're comfortable, baby will be. I know dd would get easily overheated and sweaty if she was dressed with too much...just like her mama

Something like this with or without a shortsleeve white body suit underneath is sweet:

(And my sister made me booties I'd put with the above.)

But I LOVE these if anyone ends up buying me one... http://www.buybuybaby.com/store/product/burt-39-s-bees-baby-trade-9-piece-take-me-home-gift-basket-in-blossom/3260690?Keyword=Take+me+home
And lastly, my bff said the newborn clothes really just go up to about 7+ lbs and her daughter was 8lbs, 2 oz and the 0-3 mo clothes fit so much better than the newborn clothes, so maybe take 1 of each size just in case?

Re: ***OFFICIAL JULY 2015 BABIES THREAD***
I don't have any pics on this phone but I have a Ralph Lauren kimono side snap two piece pajama set as well as a red white blue checkered short sleeve romper in case he is here for 4th of July (dd was born a day early and I'm due July 5). I think that would be really cute :). The pajamas is size 0-3 and the romper is NB so size may play a factor. I also have a second baby blue RL romper in 3 months as a back up.
My daughter was 9 lbs 1 oz and she was still swimming in her 3 month pajamas coming home so I got a few NB outfits this time around

Yeah I agree that the newborn clothes fit past 8 lbs like it says! My son was 8 lbs 4 oz and he was also swimming in 3 months things!! The newborn stuff obv doesn't last long but they're good for a few weeks!
Side not, I have the damn stomach virus again!!!! I got it 2 1/2 months ago and had to go to the hospital for an iv. This time I seem ok and don't think I need to get hydrated but it's still the worse thing ever!!

Ugh sucks!! Make sure when you drink water you do little sips and don't gulp down lots of water thinking that will help you stay hydrated. That will likely pass through you too quickly where as little sips keeps you hydrated with a bug.

Is a growth sono standard practice in your office? I was only offered one with my dd since she was measuring big (fundal height). I am hoping to see this guy one more time but there has been no mention of a scan
