Re: ***OFFICIAL JULY 2015 BABIES THREAD***

Had my 35 week appt yesterday. Had a sono to check position (since she had been breech). She is now head down and ready, actually sitting very low. Also had the group b and my first internal. The internal was very uncomfy and today I've been having pain from it, sitting on an ice pack as I type lol. Overall baby looks good, measuring exactly 35 weeks and is approx 5lb 11oz. So excited!!!!

yeay! getting close! Sorry your internal was painful! I go to my dr. tomorrow (36w3d) and will probably get my first internal and strep b test. Except the last time I was there my baby was measuring a lot more than yours lol so i'm kinda nervous.

Wow, this is it for us ladies. It's all starting!

I had my appt this morning at 35w6d. Did strepB, but will start internals next week. In the homestretch girls.

I'm exhausted and baby is so low my belly hangs out from certain shirts!

My ds was 6lbs 11 oz when born so I'm hoping she stays in this weight range of 50% bc I don't want to birth a big baby lol.

Wow we are getting so close!!! 33 weeks so a little behind you ladies but my 32 week sono showed that she was now breech meanwhile 4 days before that she was head down at the sono I had at the hospital! Was having a lot of contractions that they had to stop with shots but now I've been doing a lot better with the contractions! 2 1/2 weeks left of work and next week is all proctoring and grading so I'm looking forward to being done with work bc im friggin tired ! Lol no napping when I get home with my DS running around lol!

I feel a lot more anxious after having the contractions bc I feel like am I gonna go super early? Am I gonna go around 38 weeks like I did with my son? Or it could be later or I could need a c section if she's still breech! So I'm def more anxious this time around! Just hoping she's healthy whenever she's born!

I had my 35 week appointment yesterday too and the baby is still head down. They said they like to do the Strep B test at the 35wk, 5 day mark at the earliest so we'll do that at my first Internal on Monday at next doc appointment when I am 36 weeks.

Can't wait to be done with work. I'm due 7/13 so for now my last day of work in pencil is 7/10 but may start earlier if needed...we'll see!

Pretty much just need to pack my labor bag, install the car seat which someone just bought us, and set up a couple things in her room Chat Icon

At least you have an end date in sight! I am planning on working until the end in order to max out my paid leave once the baby is here. I almost wish I knew when DD was coming so that I can plan!!

I still have to pack my hospital bag which I will do this weekend, and I am still bugging DH to install the infant car seat bases into our cars but he is dragging his feet.... Chat Icon I am also trying to clean as much as I can before DD is here. My DH was annoyed that I was dusting the house at 6:30 this morning lol.

Haha that's great. Very productive dusting!

The only reason I don't want to work past my due date is because I work in midtown Manhattan and would worry about going into labor so far from home. I'd only stop early if the internal appointments reveal I am close to something happening. Would you work past the due date?

Ok in that case I don't blame you because I would not want to commute to NYC so close to my due date either!! Yeah if I am overdue then unfortunately will still be working!

With dd1 I worked in the city. I stopped at 36 weeks. But I also knew I wasn't going back.

So no internal last night, my doctor said he would do them starting 37 weeks. Just the strep b test and another growth sono. I feel a little better because baby girl is now measuring 6 lbs, as opposed to 7.5 lbs 2 weeks ago. So I guess it just goes to show that these sonos are way off! I am thinking she will be around 8 lbs in the end like my DS was. I am hoping I go before my due date, because after my due date is a really busy time for me at work (some days require me to stay until 7pm, ugh...).

It's a busy time meaning you'd still work past the due date? (Are you in Ad Sales?)
