Re: ******Official October 2013 Mommies****
I've sorted through DS1's clothes and made a list of what else we'll need. I have yet to buy anything from the list or wash the clothes though. I'm saving that for the end of September when we get our furniture delivered.
I'm hoping August will fly by b/c at this point I feel like I'm just waiting to be able to do everything.

I'm 30 weeks, and so far the only thing I've done is order her newborn diapers (I'm using cloth diapers)
I figure I'll start washing everything mid-September. I feel like having the baby clothes washed and ready makes the waiting that much harder!

I know how you feel. I'm beginning to get uncomfortable too; leg cramps, pressure against my ribs. Wow you're going twice a week for NST; I go once a week and I have the nurse still coming giving me the 17P shots.
Good Luck with your growth sono!!!

We're painting the nursery this weekend and decorating. The crib and changer are all put together, we also added crown moulding and chair rail. Still deciding on window treatments. Deciding on what type of chair/rocker/glider I might want.

We're just in a holding pattern for a few more weeks b/c it's too early to paint, furniture isn't in yet etc.
Feeling good though and so far still sleeping ok.
Our current stress is a name. We just cannot decide and I have no idea how we are going to.

Are you ladies packing your own pajamas or nightgowns or do you plan to stay in the hospital gowns? I'm trying to decide if I should pick up some loungelike pants.
TIA

I am packing a few night gowns and robe. ARe you having a c-section? I am and I don't want the pants to irritate the incision.

Re: ******Official October 2013 Mommies****
Update on Me, I finally bought my bedding and picked out a crib! Crib looks much better in person. Baby Crib My bedding,
cribsheet ,
quilt
With DD, I had her bedding custom made and wanted to do the same with DS, but I couldn't find any pattern I liked. I originally wanted another set, but it was on back order until October 14th. So, I chose this one. My sprinkle/shower is tomorrow, so I guess I'll figure out what else I need afterwards. I have 46 days (scheduled c-section). Where is everyone else in their count down?

Yes I'm having a csection. I guess I will pick up some gowns and maybe just take 1 pair of pajama pants.

I love the bedding!!! It's really cute.
My OB is afraid I will go into labor(so am I) prior to my scheduled csection. Due to my scar tissue from my last csection she wants to deliver me prior to 39 weeks so I may go in at 37 1/2 weeks which is like in a month.
Have fun at your sprinkle!!!

Re: ******Official October 2013 Mommies****
This reminded me that I need to pick up some nightgowns! I brought pants last time and they were so uncomfy after my section that I stayed in the hospital gown with a robe over it.
Had my 30 week appt yesterday and found out my iron is a bit low so I need to start a supplement. Probably explains why I can barely move in the mornings.
Next appt in 2 weeks and hoping I'll get my c-section date then...

Re: ******Official October 2013 Mommies****
Dealing with insomnia I decided to finish washing all of clothes and as I was putting them in her dresser I noticed I have tons of NB size stuff and 3 size 3 months No clue how that happened so I will be hitting up Kohls in a few hours.
Might as well go to the one in Massapequa so I can stop at DQ and get an Orange Julius smoothie. Things I think about at 3 am.

******Official October 2013 Mommies****
Hi ladies! I lurk more than post but I had an adventure this week that o thought I would share. Thursday I hit 30 weeks. I was on my was to work with my dh at 5:30am when I tripped. I went flying and landed on all fours. I destroyed my knees and hands but was convinced i did not hit my belly. Dh said I did and flipped. We went back home he cleaned me up and I emailed my dr. I know I should have called but I was trying to avoid a trip to the er. Hoped when she read it she would have been in the office and just said come in. No such luck! Straight to l and d she said ugh! I went it and i was having contractions for 10 hrs and i had no clue unless I looked at the monitor. So I had to stay overnight. Somehow they just stopped on their own. Poppy seed is 3lbs 11oz and breech so we all prefer it bake a little longer. I am finally home waddling around on sore knees and baby is kicking up a storm. It was very nerve racking and this whole baby thing became very real :) I have to say lenox hill hosp was great and definitely eased my nerves a little. Thank for reading hope we all have an uneventful next few weeks.
