What type of paint did you get?

Benjamin Moore has a line called Natura...

Benjamin Moore Natura® No-VOC Paint
Natura Waterborne Interior Paint continues Benjamin Moore's commitment to providing the most environmentally friendly paint.

Natura Paint emits lower total VOCs than other national zero-VOC products on the market, all without compromise to performance or color selection.

Natura is truly "Green Without Compromise®."

Natura Waterborne Interior Paint - Flat Finish (512)

Virtually odorless
Zero VOC's
Quick return to service
100% Acrylic
Provides a durable, washable film
Spatter-resistant
Unlimited color selection
Lower Total Emissions
One hour recoat for quick return to service
Carries the Green Promise designation
Self-priming on most surfaces

...I brought the flipping can into my doc's office and ran it by him too LOL and he was very happy - said he would recommend this from now on if anyone asked him what they should use.

And when they say odorless, they mean it, you would have NO idea I was painting in the room -- or that other rooms had just been done. It's AMAZING. So, that was good :)

White House/Black Market...

I'm normally a six in this store, so I bought this dress in an eight... I like that because now I can have it sized down one size after the baby is born and use it again and again. I hate buying a dress and only wearing it once, I feel like it's a waste - especially if I really like the dress. The lace is so soft and comfortable, I'm delighted to be able to get more use out of it.

Amazon. I got it at $56.00 instead of $90 something since I ordered an x-small and they only had 2 left in these colors.

Ha! I'm 2 days ahead of you and have been feeling like I'm going to go early for the past month or so. I'm not sure how early but def early. (it also doesn't help that I see so many people I know IRL going about 2 weeks early. One friend who was due a week before me had her DD 2 weeks ago).

I know I'm far from huge but I feel like it.

I'm dealing. The worst is at the end of a long day. Everything on me, including my stomach hurts. Luckily when I wake up everything's better (except my neck and shoulders from sleeping).

Ugh I've been feeling crappy the last few days. I cut all of my hair off last week and it's been downhill after that LOL

I've been carrying small throughout the pregnancy until now. I just feel fat, grumpy, and emotional. I hope my attitude changes because it suckkkkks right now.

Re: ******Official SEPTEMBER 2013 Mommies Thread******

I have 49 days left until the due date.

I had my 3D sono - was so excited - and the first time he kept his hands in front of his face the entire time. Then, the second time, he had both arms and a FOOT in front of his face the ENTIRE time. I was so disappointed. All we want is to get a really good look at this boy to try and determine who he looks like! Just an idea! Anything! But he wants to keep it a big secret Chat Icon

I feel fine overall - I have the return of very serious heartburn/indigestion so I have been trying to combat that with Tums. But nothing too bad and the Tums works immediately. The prenatals, all of a sudden, are repeating badly on me - they never really did that before.

But, aside from that - and that's very minor, I'm really good. I don't have any swelling, I've been drinking tons of water infused with electrolytes like doc said. I have been walking about 40 minutes to an hour a day instead of my normal thirty minutes -- I average about two BH contractions per walk lol and sometimes my right leg just goes numb, but I persevere!! Chat Icon

I had my shower last week, I should really post pics whenever DH gets around to uploading them. It was great - we literally got everything we needed aside from our stroller and ONE of our toddler car seats. But, we have the snap-n-go plus the infant car seat with extra base, so we are good for a while and with Christmas coming up, we'll just ask for the stroller for that from either of our parents. That's the plan. The same thing with the toddler car seat - we have the infant with extra base and we have ONE of the two toddler seats so we can wait on the other. So happy with that - it all worked out great.

We ordered the crib furniture - that worked out SO well. First, I found the set online at SimplyBabyFurniture.com - it was beautiful, I wanted a certain style and they were kind of hard to find. I liked the cherry wood also. Anyway, this site had free shipping and it stated that it would ship within three days of ordering. So, I figured I'd wait if the lead-time was so short. Then, we had the shower, and I rec'd gift cards to Babies-R-Us (we registered at Buy Buy Baby - and we rec'd a few cards from there too) but I guess some people had a BRU close to them, so I went in to check out their selection - I didn't need any registry items so I looked at furniture and it was almost the exact same set at BRU that I had found online - same price point too. The lady was very helpful, stated it would come in within about 5-7 days, that if we pick it up at the store there's no shipping (the store is five minutes from our house), and that I could use my gift cards to pay for it PLUS I asked about coupons - she said I could use the BBB 20% (they accept competitors) and that I could also open up a credit card and save 15% more -- so, she opened it, put the smallest amount on it, like $100 - and then I'll just pay that off and close it after we get the furniture. So, the price was the same as online, no shipping, PLUS 35% off, plus I can use the gift cards -- and my brother and sister gave us cash towards our crib (actually pays for the entire crib after the new discount) -- so, after it was all said and done, with discounts and gift money and gift cards, we laid out $142 for our baby furniture Chat Icon I was literally giddy! I just wanted a good deal on furniture and I looked for quality for less - I found that Costco, JC Penney Home, and a few online resources had nice quality for much cheaper than other baby furniture retailers. But then to be able to get in-store discounts from coupons and use gift cards really helped it make our out-of-pocket cost next to nothing. DH was thrilled. The set should come in next week.

Then, I found a rug for the room and I ordered his closet doors - the old were mirrored, these are nice and white - wooden closet doors.

We installed the closet organizer that Aunt Melissa got for us :) so happy with that - it was on my registry, only $60 from BBB and it is like 100 pieces - it came out great. I'll come back and post pics :)

By the end of next week the entire room should be set up.

DH went to TOWN with the registry gifts -- opening everything, filing away instructions, user guides, etc. neatly in one spot -- and setting up, assembling, and throwing away boxes, excess packaging we didn't need. So, the playard, the car seats, the swing, etc. is all ready to go - even the monitor. He was great with all of that. We have an appointment to have the car seat installed professionally in two weeks.

We also have a five hour class at our doc's office - about labor and delivery, c-section, newborn care, etc. That is in August. And we signed up and scheduled the hospital tour and pre-registration at St. Catherine's.

I'm currently taking a break from writing Shower thank you cards as I type.

Everything is coming together! Things seem to be working out pretty well. It was a lot only because we just moved into our new home last month - so, all of the work on the house plus unpacking plus getting baby-ready has been a lot. We have like NO free time but that's alright. The 'after' of all the hard work and the outcomes are so worth it - it's really nice to see everything come together.

Oh that reminds me, I have to order that wall decal! I was just waiting on the person who works there to give me their professional opinion on the sizing. Now that they did, I can place the order.

Hope everyone is feeling good and taking it easy. Chat Icon

OMG... you just put me to shame... I have the crib set up at least! hahahah lol That was a huge step!

Last weekend all the bins came down from attic and I washed all clothes and put away... but I am missing major things like breast pump, boppy, sofie the giraffe, my swaddle blankets, infant toys and other things that my husband and brother claim aren't in the attic. I plan on going up there today when he gets home.. .ARGHHHHH

For some reason I am panicing about my c-section this time around... I don't know why... but I really think I am going to go early. I want to pack my hospital bag asap... to make sure everything is just ready.

I just cleaned out and did an overhall on my DD playroom to make sure all tiny things are gone and everything is cleaned...

BUT OMG... you sound all put together and I just feel lost lol

OK - pics as promised:

CRIB:

It will be that crib WITH the Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit bedding...

The dresser/changing table combo...

There's also a taller dresser with four drawers and the conversion kit we are going to wait on for now bc MIL said she would buy for us when baby is born as his 'welcome to the world' gift lol. That worked out. It's a very nice set. Well made, which is good.

The closet organizer set, which is for sale on BBB for $59.99 - it is called: Delta Deluxe 100-Piece Nursery Closet Storage Set

Pay no mind to the fact that we don't have doors for the closet yet, they are on order lol. Before, the doors looked like they were from one of those motels you rent out by the hour Chat Icon Very Boogie Nights!

External Image

This kid has a lot of stuff Chat Icon

DH will do shower pics later, I'm sure. I ended up having great service with everyone I used - the cookie lady, Andrea P Designs for labels, the jams and jellies, 21 Main (location), and the florist (Towers Flowers) - everything was excellent and they all did such great work and were so wonderful to work with. So, I should definitely do a little 'review' of sorts, on that.

Feeling pretty good ladies besides horrible back pains :(

We started to pull somethings and wash them from the attic - just need to paint the room and set up all the furntiure and a little organizing. I'm waiiting for nesting to start, but I'm afraid it isn't coming. There is so much I need to do before baby but just not the energy :)

She looked at me and said ummm you still have 5-6 weeks to go and baby should gain like 3 more lbs!

I told her my DD was 9.14! Looks like I am having another 9-10 ls baby!

ETA- Thank the lord for C-sections!

I went last week at 33 weeks and they told me 5lbs! Which is above average.

I'm not concerned. My OB told me that both my DDs were bigger than they wound up being. They were 7lbs and 7lb6oz and both were estimated over 8lbs.

You are all wayyy ahead of me. I have a whole list of things to buy/do and I've done nothing.

First on the list is a new car Chat Icon I currently have no room for another carseat in my CR-V. Hopefully we can get that done by next week!

No! lol.. I can't believe it's freakin' August already?!?
I'm a mix between excited, anxious and terrified.

I'm happy that my shower passed, I have all the necessities for the baby, and I just submitted all my paperwork to work for FMLA. I'm registering online with the hospital today so whenever the baby wants to make his appearance i'll be "ready".
