oh COME ON - man robs bank dressed as DARTH VADER.

A gun-toting man wearing a Darth Vader mask and cape robbed a Setauket bank Thursday morning, police said.
The man, about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, fled after the robbery of the Chase bank at 4080 Route 347, Suffolk police said.
He entered the bank at 11:30 a.m., displayed a gun and demanded cash, police said in a news release.
"The teller complied with the robber's demands and gave him money from the drawer," police said.
Police said the robber wore the mask of Darth Vader, the fictional antagonist in the "Star Wars" saga. He also wore a blue cape and camouflage pants, and fled east through the parking lot.
Detectives are investigating.
Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.

That lady is just standing there, next in line, hasn't a clue a gun is pointed at her back. She didn't feel a disturbance in the force.

Darth Vader is supposed to use a light saber, everyone knows that!! If you're going to dress up as a super-villain to rob a bank at least have the decency to do so accurately.

Stupid....
But this scares the sh!t out of me, my DH works in a bank branch (in an iffy area) and this is my biggest fear, regardless of what he is wearing.

Darth vadar does not wear a blue cape he is dressed in all black any star wars fan knows this!!! My Husband told me to be careful when i went to go to the atm he said Darth Vadar robbed a Bank! Ummmm Thanks i was nervous going to the bank before.

I was robbed when I was a bank teller, but not by Darth Vader...the guy who robbed me wore an Elmer Fudd hat and a huge puffy jacket on a really warm day in March

This is the disturbing part because there are 3 banks in that area now, plus tons of stores where I shop since it's across from where I live. It's just very disturbing that this occurred in an area you wouldn't think this type of thing happened in. DH is nervous about me doing banking/shopping by myself up at this shopping center now.
