OK - we FINALLY watched premonition (also dont look if you havent seen it)

First of all, I remembered this thread and purposely didnt read it because I knew I would see this movie, and then found it after... and reading it I laughed my a s s off...

I even read the thread outloud to DH and my stepdaughter and we were laughing because we were o confused to...

all I can say is...



would her husband have died if she didnt get involved???

Did she undo her awful experience at the institution by flitting back and forth between the days...

To tell you the truth, you ladies followed the days of the week better than I did - I gave up waaaaaay before she evn wipped out her calendar.

Plus, I cried like a baby at the end.

And the whole pregnancy thing... oh my GOD....

And at the end, we were all like - out of the car... Out of the CAR Jim... get out of the car!!!

and why did she tell him to turn around? Why didnt she JUST tell him - if you trust me, get out of the car and run like OJ faaaar away from that 220 sign.... a friggin gas truck jackknifing??? Come on....



and the whole time I was telling my stepdaughter (DH fell asleep around the time the opening credits stopped ) that this was some type of conspiracy that everyone was in on...

and I'm like - why cant anyone else see her daughter's scars?????? When will they admit they see her scars????

I agree! and a few weeks back people on here said it was great!
The whole scar thing with the daughter was ultimately confusing to me. I just dont know either. I am with you!

I guess the original way he died, he was AT the mile marker. She saw him there and told him to turn around. But either way, he was supposed to die. So when the casket opened, he wasn't burned because that wasn't how he died.

She changed how he died but she couldn't stop him from dying.

She also had a change of heart, too...which led to the conception of the baby and ironically, he tripled his insurance, too.


I thought it was so sad. But I liked it.

The scar thing at the beginning when she saw them and the other daughter didn't was somethiing that she did...when the accident first happened, she didn't want anyone to focus on the scars so the other daughter pretended they weren't there.

The time when the doctor came, I don't think she experienced the window accident yet, so she didn't know or remember how it happened...we see that after.

This whole movie confused me. I have no idea about any of it. The end, middle and beginning left me . The onnly good thing about it was the Nip tuck guy. I cant think of his name.
